Academic accommodations
The Academic Accommodations Service works with the University of Ottawa community to support students with temporary or permanent disability.

Self-directed mental health support
TAO Self-Help is an online platform of tools and interactive modules that can help you manage the many stressors that come with university life and can help you bounce back from challenging times.

Peer support
A peer support assistant will work with you to mobilize relevant on and off campus resources so that you feel more confident navigating your current stressors.

Personalized Health Education Program
Learn to navigate your health and wellness with a Health Promotion Specialist as part of your circle of care. They can work with you and your health care providers to determine the best care plan, help you navigate health and wellness resources and connect you with appropriate programs and services.

Assistive Technology Mentoring Centre
Support and enhance your learning by booking an appointment to receive advice and training from the Assistive Technology Mentoring Centre.

Student Support Groups
The University鈥檚 support groups are safe, confidential and welcoming spaces where you can talk, listen and connect with other students.

Training
These resources offer training on mental health awareness and intervention to help you learn to identify and respond to members of the community who might be experiencing distress, as well as resources on occupational health and safety.

Call 1-855-649-8641 for immediate support or to make an appointment with a counsellor in person, by phone, by video call or via automated counselling. You may also consult a private psychotherapist or psychologist and be reimbursed a portion by your health insurance.
