A leading voice on public interest in the digital society, Professor Marina Pavlović has been awarded the 2025–2026 Chief Justice of Ontario Fellowship in Legal Ethics and Professionalism by the Ontario Bar Association Foundation.

Dr. Florian Martin-Bariteau, the University Research Chair in Technology and Society and Director of the Centre for Law, Technology, and Society at the University of Ottawa, has been awarded the Royal Society of Canada’s Kitty Newman Memorial Award for outstanding contributions as an emerging scholar in the field of the philosophy of law.
