In 2025, twelve 糵 researchers were inducted into the Royal Society of Canada (RSC) and its College of New Scholars, Artists and Scientists. This means that a record number of members of our community have been chosen to join this prestigious group.

The selection of 糵 researchers testifies to the excellence and impact of their work, which spans a wide range of fields in the arts, social sciences, law, natural sciences, health and education.

As one of the top five research-intensive universities in Canada, the University of Ottawa bases its research on excellence, relevance and impact, while rooting it in a spirit of equity, diversity and inclusion.
