We recommend that you enrol in your normal �糵���� courses for the coming academic year (as if you were not going on exchange).

Enrol in TRF 1000 (the �糵���� exchange course): Once you receive your Letter of Acceptance from your host institution, you will need to request enrolment in the required �糵���� exchange course (TRF 1000). Undergraduate students will need to do so by filling out the  Modification/Cancellation of Enrolment (Undergraduate Studies) form (PDF; 228 KB). Graduate students will need to fill out the Modification/Cancellation of Enrolment (Graduate Studies) form (PDF; 236 KB) to drop �糵���� courses.

Please note that your faculty exchange advisor is your contact for all questions related to course enrolment and course equivalencies.

You will need to enrol in your exchange courses according to your host university’s procedures and deadlines. Your host institution will send this information directly to you.

Once you have completed enrolment in your host university courses, you must submit your final course selection to your faculty for final approval.

Your host institution will automatically send you a copy of your official transcript, free of charge. Your transcript will be sent about one or two months after you’ve completed the exchange. Keep in mind that, if necessary, you may request a transcript sooner, at your own expense, once your host institution has made their grades official.

It is your responsibility to send your exchange transcript directly to your faculty to receive transfer credits.

You must register your trip abroad by and complete the mandatory travel safety workshop. The workshop will take place in person, and the Student Mobility team will inform you of the dates, times, and locations each year.

Please keep in mind that every traveler is different, and that you must mitigate your risks accordingly (gender, age, sexual orientation, race, etc.). 

All mobility scholarships will be deposited directly into your �糵���� student account.

You must complete the mandatory pre-departure session prior to your exchange. We will contact students who have been accepted for exchange directly with more information.

The pre-departure session will cover topics such as:

• Overcoming culture shock
• Academic accommodation services
• Mental health services
• How to integrate into a new culture, a new environment
• Networking (meeting other exchange students going abroad and to the same university)
