Nature and Technologies, Health, Society and Culture

The objective of the training awards offered by the Fonds de recherche du Québec is to help support new generations of students in all sectors of research: natural sciences, mathematics and engineering (Nature and Technologies), human health (Health), humanities, social sciences, art and letters (Society and Culture).

More specifically, the Scholarship aims to:

  • Spark the interest of new generations of students in research
  • Support research excellence by providing top students with financial assistance as they undertake or pursue a doctoral research program.

Master's students

  • Value: $20,000 per year, for a maximum of 6 terms

Other information

  • Deadline: October 1, 2025, 4 p.m.
  • The application is completed online on the FRQ website and students must mail all supporting documents to the FRQ by the deadline.
  • Eligibility: Master's and doctorate students, Canadians and permanent residents, domiciled in the province of Québec
