The objective of the training awards offered by the Fonds de recherche du Québec is to help support new generations of students in all sectors of research: natural sciences, mathematics and engineering (Nature and Technologies), human health (Health), humanities, social sciences, art and letters (Society and Culture).
More specifically, the Scholarship aims to:
- Spark the interest of new generations of students in research
- Support research excellence by providing top students with financial assistance as they undertake or pursue a doctoral research program.
Master's students
- Value: $20,000 per year, for a maximum of 6 terms

- Deadline: October 1, 2025, 4 p.m.
- The application is completed online on the FRQ website and students must mail all supporting documents to the FRQ by the deadline.
- Eligibility: Master's and doctorate students, Canadians and permanent residents, domiciled in the province of Québec
