The LIFE Research Institute was part of an important delegation from the University of Ottawa, to sign an agreement with l鈥橴niversit茅 Jean Monnet in Lyon, France.

The Canadian delegation, including Jacques Fr茅mont, President and Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ottawa and Linda Garcia, founding director of the LIFE Research Institute were welcomed by Mich猫le Cottier, President of l鈥, his team, researchers and local stakeholders (G茅rontop么le and Saint-脡tienne M茅tropole). The two universities signed an agreement formalizing their strong collaboration for research excellence. This approach is part of a dynamic international cooperation to answer the societal questions of three public health themes:
- Prevention and Aging
- Movement sciences and nutrition
- Eating disorders
The agreement will allow joint projects and mobility for researchers and students from both institutions.
