Prof. Vanessa Gruben is a Faculty member at the Centre for Law, Technology and Society, and a Full Professor within the Faculty of Law, Common Law Section at the University of Ottawa.
Professor Vanessa Gruben is the director of the Centre for Health Law Policy and Ethics. A recognized expert in Canadian health law and policy, her scholarship probes some of the most difficult contemporary legal and ethical issues related to health care. Specifically, her research explores the law and ethics regarding assisted reproduction, harm reduction, organ donation and transplantation, health care professional self-regulation as well as artificial intelligence.
