The University Research Chair in Technology and Society is seeking a research assistant to support Prof. FlorianMartin-Bariteau鈥檚 research projects and assist in the preparation of reports, articles, and conferences on technology law and regulation matters: platforms; AI; cybersecurity; quantum technologies.
Knowledge, skills, and experience
Minimum qualifications: bilingualism (French and English); excellent writing skills in French and/or English (preferably in both languages); thorough knowledge of QuickLaw, WestLaw (multijurisdictional), HeinOnline; knowledge of civil law and/or common law liability and property law (knowledge of both is an asset).
Eligibility: Candidates must be enrolled as students in the Faculty of Law at the University of Ottawa. Preference will be given to candidates who meet the criteria of the Work-Study Program.
