Rapid Review Webinar
Session in English
Oct 23, 2025 — 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.
We invite you to join us as Patrick Labelle, CRECS Principal Researcher and Research Librarian at the University of Ottawa guides us through the key steps of "Conducting a successful rapid review project".

Conducting a successful rapid review project
Its main purpose is to balance rigour with efficiency by using established systematic review methods while making targeted modifications. Rapid reviews are narrower and more focused, and aim to produce solid syntheses in a shorter timeframe. They are increasingly used in fields like education and psychology to inform practice, policy, and decision-making where time and resources are limited.
This webinar will introduce the key concepts and methods of rapid reviews. It will provide an overview of what rapid reviews are as well as when they are useful and it will outline the main steps in conducting and reporting this type of review. The 60-minute webinar will include a 30- to 40-minute presentation that will be recorded followed by a 20- to 30-minute discussion and question period.
