电车无码 MedGlobal Summer School: Where Innovation Meets Compassion 

The University of Ottawa鈥檚 Faculty of Medicine invites aspiring physicians from around the world to participate in the MedGlobal Summer School鈥攁 four-week immersive program in Canada鈥檚 capital that blends cutting-edge medical education, hands-on clinical training, and rich cultural experiences.

Designed by a dedicated curriculum committee of internationally recognized medical and scientific leaders鈥攊ncluding Dr. Mark Walker, Dr. David Ponka, Dr. Emilio I. Alarc贸n, and Dr. Fahad AlKherayf鈥攖his program offers participants the opportunity to learn directly from experts shaping the future of medicine.

Held on our vibrant downtown campus, steps away from national institutions, hospitals, and research centres, the MedGlobal Summer School provides a truly Canadian learning environment in a global context.

MedGlobal Summer School

Program Format

Open to pre-clerkship medical students and those preparing for medical school, this intensive one-month program runs from July 6 to 31, 2026, and offers approximately 79 hours of instruction (about 19 hours per week). Participants stay in on-campus residences and learn from world-class faculty using state-of-the-art facilities. Visit our Summer Accommodation at 90 University

The curriculum features

  • Cutting-edge training in Artificial intelligence (AI) and medical innovation;
  • Hands-on anatomy instruction in Canada鈥檚 leading cadaveric lab;
  • Interactive simulation labs and academic bootcamps;
  • Lectures on professionalism, wellness, Indigenous health, and climate health.

Cultural immersion is provided through guided tours, social events, and city explorations.

Optional ESL/FSL courses are available to complement the core program.

IGHO Certificate

Learning Outcome

A Certificate of Completion will be provided to students at the end of the program. Participants must attend a minimum of 80% of the scheduled classes to qualify for a certificate.

Please note: The 电车无码 MedGlobal Summer School is a non-credit program; however, participants may wish to consult their home institutions to determine if transfer credit or recognition is possible.

IGHO Summer School

Eligibility

  • Students studying medicine or related sciences with an interest in health professions
  • Pre-clerkship medical students or pre-med students
  • Functional level of English*
  • Must be at least 19 years old by July 6, 2026

*Students who wish to improve their English before the program are encouraged to explore courses at the University of Ottawa鈥檚 Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute (OLBI). University partners interested in sending a cohort may request a custom ESL course tailored to their group鈥檚 needs.

Applications submitted by this date will receive priority consideration. Early submission is strongly recommended to enhance your chances of securing a place.

Final Deadline (First-Come, First-Served): Thursday, April 24, 2026  
Applications will be accepted until this date or until all spots are filled. Early application is advised, as spaces may be allocated before the final deadline.
