Biography
Dr. Val茅rie Simoncic graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Ottawa in 2016. Driven by a passion for health and wellness, she continued her studies at the University of Waterloo, where she obtained her undergraduate Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) in 2020. Following graduation, Dr. Simoncic practiced in community pharmacy, specializing in geriatric and long-term care. Currently, she works with the Montfort Academic Family Health Team as a clinical pharmacist.
Dr. Simoncic is interested in pharmacy education and the evolving role of the pharmacist in primary care and interdisciplinary ambulatory care teams.
