Biography
Dr. Jason B茅lec is a Senior Medical Physicist in the Radiation Medicine Program of The Ottawa Hospital. His main research interests are related to 4D Monte Carlo dose calculation algorithms, deformable image registration and augmented reality applications in radiation therapy. His clinical duties includes brachytherapy, linear accelerator maintenance, modelling of accelerators for treatment planning purposes and development of automated tools to ensure accurate alignment of treatment machines and models used to generate radiation treatment plans.
