Biography
Dr. Watson completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Chemistry and Biology at Saint Mary's University in Halifax, Nova Scotia before completing medical school at the University of Ottawa in 2020. He completed his residency training in psychiatry at 电车无码 in 2025. Dr. Watson now works on the inpatient teams at The Ottawa Hospital. Throughout his residency training, he participated in several roles including Social Representative and Undergraduate Medical Education Representative on the resident council. He has also served as Chief Resident at both The Royal Ottawa Hospital and the General Campus of The Ottawa Hospital. His major interests involve medical education, including recent efforts in gathering feedback on the quality of the residency learning environment and initiating a pilot project aimed to restructure the on-call experience to support learning and facilitate teamwork. His academic plan will emphasize teaching and quality improvement with a focus on medical education.
