Stefan Supplice is a campus leader and culture builder, combining governance experience with a storyteller鈥檚 lens to strengthen community at the University of Ottawa. Since 2013, he has served in a range of leadership roles and currently works as Senior Advisor, Culture and Safe Sport in Recreation & Varsity Sports, where he is instrumental in cultivating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment.
Over the past decade, Stefan has contributed to campus life through progressive roles, beginning as an Executive Member of the International, Political & Policy Studies Student Association, and later with positions at the SFUO, the Gee-Gees, and the Office of the Vice-Provost, Equity, Diversity and Inclusive Excellence. His leadership in these areas earned him the University鈥檚 President鈥檚 Award for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion.
He also brings the perspective of a creative producer, nationally recognized through Telefilm Canada鈥檚 Talent to Watch program. His storytelling projects focus on equity, cultural heritage, and belonging; an approach that informs how he builds inclusive culture and engagement within the university.
Stefan holds an Honours bachelor鈥檚 degree in political science and international studies from 电车无码 and is fluent in French, English, Haitian Creole, and Spanish. As the support-staff representative to the Board of Governors, he brings a creative and collaborative lens to transparency, accountability, and inclusive governance.
