Biography

Nancy Rh茅aume is a seasoned executive and trusted business leader with deep expertise in corporate governance, enterprise risk management, and internal audit across both public and private sectors. Fluent in French and English, she is known for her strategic thinking, ability to distill complex business information into actionable insights, and her commitment to fostering collaborative, high-performing teams.

Currently serving as Senior Director, Risk Management and Chief Risk Officer at the Canadian Commercial Corporation (CCC), Nancy provides expert advisory services to the Executive team and Board of Directors, guiding strategic decision-making and operational risk management. She oversees the Corporation鈥檚 Enterprise Risk Management Framework, departmental security planning, and business continuity programs, including disaster recovery and emergency response planning.

Previously, Nancy held the role of Director, Enterprise Risk Management at the Royal Canadian Mint, where she led the development and integration of risk management programs, fraud prevention, and internal controls over financial reporting. Her earlier roles include Director of ERM and Compliance at Tim Hortons Inc., Principal at NAC Governance and Risk Consulting, and leadership positions at the Independent Electricity System Operator and the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Nancy holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Laval University and has completed executive programs in Strategic Planning at Queen鈥檚 University and Leadership at Western University鈥檚 Ivey School of Business. She is an active member of the Ontario Institute of Chartered Professional Accountants and the Conference Board of Canada鈥檚 Strategic Risk Council. Her commitment to community and professional development is reflected in her volunteer roles as Chair of the Board at Institut du Savoir Montfort, Board Member at the University of Ottawa, and facilitator for the Institute of Internal Auditors.
